Romance in Savannah, GA; Sipping and Tasting Getaway.
Time for a little taste of Southern Sensation and some warm weather. Living in my beloved New York comes with its cold weather challenges. I took off to explore the beautiful city of Savannah, Ga…Sipping and Tasting the entire weekend. I came across the Turbine Market & Cafe while strolling along the riverfront boardwalk in the Plant Riverside District of Savannah. Ok, full disclosure, back home in New York, it’s 27 degrees; I’m strolling in 80-degree beautiful weather. The Turbine Market had great curb appeal that attracted me to check out the venue. Located in the lobby of the JW Marriott, the eclectic cafe has beautiful indoor and outdoor options. Given the beautiful weather outside, we chose outdoor dining to enjoy “brunch.” The service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive. The meal choice for me was an amazing breakfast bowl of shredded pork, eggs, and veggies. Beautifully plated with a side of rye toast and a must-have of extra bacon. As a starter, we ordered “Grand Mimosas” each in a Champagne flute, with orange liqueur and Champagne ..glasses topped off with orange juice and blueberries. “Berry Nice.” Sipping and Tasting gives the Turbine Market a “Rose,” we also give the city of Savannah a big thank you for a beautiful experience of historic tree-lined streets, beautiful parks, and breathtaking views. Thank you, Savannah; we will be back.🌹
